About Post 16
Munster Post 16 is one of 23 posts in the First District in the Department of Indiana. In July 2022, it held 92 members made up of veterans of WWII (5), Vietnam (50), Persian Gulf (12), Panama (3), Lebanon/Grenada (6), Korea (13) and Global War on Terrorism (8). Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Munster Town Hall. Post members also participate in Memorial Day, Independence Day, National Night Out Against Crime, Veterans Day and funeral activities. The Post is a 501(c)(19) organization and contributions may be tax-exempt in accordance with IRS rules.
