About Post 16
Munster Post 16 is one of 23 posts in the First District in the Department of Indiana. In June 2020, it held 111 members made up of veterans of WWII (10), Vietnam (57), Persian Gulf (13), Panama (3), Lebanon/Grenada (5), Korea (18) and unknown (5). Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Munster Town Hall. Post members also participate in Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day activities. During the CoViD-19 pandemic, activities were/are limited. The Post is an IRC 501(c)(19) organization and contributions may be tax-exempt in accordance with IRS rules.
